as promised, in light of the recent 'heat wave' we got a little camera happy. i actually have loads of blogging related assignments to do this weekend so i thought i would just kill two (or several) birds with one stone. i actually planned to wear my new boots with this outfit but i lent them to marta for a shoot they are doing up in edmonton, no boots for me, the only other option therefore, were my trusty, and slightly worn to death h&m booties. my steve maddens got scuffed in an unfortunate door closing accident, breaking my heart. i took this opportunity, however, to re-asses the situation and decided it was only sensible to get a new pair, the ones originally bought were too big anyway, plus they got super scuffed *tear* AND bonus! i found a discount code online. did you know that you can google pretty much any coupon code and save a little. i did this with my flight to vancouver and now with these shoes. again! a big proponent of this online shopping business (disclaimer: it's easy for things to get out of control, you always forget what you buy because you don't have your purchases on hand, but things add up real fast). i just realized, in my head i am sounding a little bit like snooki, a temporary lapse of character, since i just finished watching an episode of the jersey shore. how i can sit through it don't know, it's fascinating in some sick way, and actually poetically human, haha i can't believe i'm saying this. a guilty pleasure if you will. i swear to you i will never buy it on dvd. on a brighter note i also bought this, what i am automatically assuming, amazing versace book that i am currently on page 24 of, so far a 'page-turner', contrary to inside sleeve promises, it is not, but educational nevertheless, i'll let you know how the other 295 pages go (excluding the footnotes of course).
